Guide to Fescue Grass

Fescue grass is a cool season grass that doesn’t really like high levels of heat, and does not withstand heavy traffic very well. It is relatively shade tolerant, unlike most cool season grasses.

Mow Fescue grass between 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches.
